A bachelors degree in Instrumentation equipped me with the know how of different subjects like Electronics, Control engineering, Signal Processing, Transducers, Analog and Digital Circuits, Applied and Engineering Mathematics (to list a few). 

 

I was interested in Space Sciences and Astrnomy. Hence, I under took projects in those areas at IIA, IUCAA, UWA and Stanford as summer internship and visiting position. I also got a chance to attend a winter school (Winter School on Astroparticle Physics, WAPP- 2009) conducted by TIFR and Bose Institute in Darjeeling. 

 

It has been an amazing career journey, since I came to know many distinguished professional and students who are now studying and pursuing research at premeir institutes around the world. The above experience helped me get a research position at The University of Westen Australia. I spent around 2 years there, working on different domains like testing electronic circuits, hardware and software equipments, optics and laser set up, control loops of the experimental set up, vibration isolation, mathematical modelling and simulation, Printed Circuit Boards (PCB). Implemented projects using different software tools and packages such as MATLAB, C++, Simulink, Protel (Circuit analysis software).
